Making Decisions

When making decisions sometimes it can be a detailed process. You may need to talk to your other half (like my dear hubby), research information, list pros and cons, ask advice or seek professional opinion. Of course we don't need to do this for things like should I have a cup of tea? or when should I go to bed?

It's important decisions that require more of our thought and attention. Although it is important, could that thought and attention be better spent on something else. I think most of the time, yes.

Imagine if we could just ask someone all knowing, all powerful, loving and who will look after our best interests... Wait a minute that's GOD!

God is omniscient, omnipotent, loves us unconditionally (so much that He let His Son die on our behalf), and He has planned a future of good things for us. And of course He created us from the very beginning and knew us in our mothers womb.

I think it would almost be stupid not to ask God what to do. Wouldn't you say?

We still need to do our bit. He won't do everything for us, and He did create us with intelligence, fearfully and wonderfully! So don't waste your time worrying about what the right thing to do is. Ask for help in your decision making.
