Sunday mornings

What do you and your family do on a Sunday morning?

We go to church as a family but before that its quite relaxed. A yummy breakfast all round; usually bacon and eggs, pancakes or French toast. Whatever takes our fancy. Maybe some cartoons for the girls although I really don't like television of a morning (before 9am!) Music, signing and dancing or tickle fights. Spending time all four of us squished on the couch chatting or a new phase, doing something on an iProduct.

I love it! Sundays are relaxed, peaceful and family orientated before church. Then by setting apart time to spend with God and worship him as a church we make it Holy. I imagine that's what God had in mind when told us in Exodus to keep the seventh day as a day of rest and to keep it Holy.

Exodus 20:8-11 “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

P.S. Most Sundays my beautiful husband lets me sleep in!
